What a little cutie! Siba was treated to some Cake Smash fun in our studio to celebrate her 1st birthday. The family chose a simple, elegant theme and the photos are classic and beautiful. I’m a lucky photographer! She was a little bit grumpy from teething pain, but her family’s laughter and enthusiasm gained some cute smiles. Yummy cake helped too. Siba was a true lady about it, and didn’t seem too keen on smashing the cake, so everyone stepped… Continue reading
Do you remember Wendy and Her Dogs? Wendy is now expecting a grandchild with less fur and only two legs instead of four! Her daughter is expecting a baby! They hosted a beautiful, intimate, festive family gathering to discover and announce the gender of their Little – popping a balloon revealed pink confetti – it’s a Girl!!! I’ve always been so jealous of big, close families, and it was so special to capture this post-lockdown family gathering. Photography and… Continue reading
Kai’s was by far the easiest newborn session we have ever had the privilege of shooting. And wow, did he pull a 180 degree turn for his 1st birthday shoot! He greeted me with the biggest smile and hug when we arrived, but the second we started to take photos, he got grumpy. Very grumpy. Remember Shenaaz and Stephen’s Maternity Photos? This little cutie named Kai was an absolute pleasure to shoot. He was soooo relaxed and happy and sleepy. We scheduled went to his home and moved some furniture around to take advantage of some soft window light. We used beautiful old cameras from the family home, as well as some Disney soft toys from Kai’s aunty Jen (you might remember her phenomenal wedding). Megan Calitz assisted… Continue reading
The Kotze Family have welcomed little Adam! We did Tilly-Marie’s newborn photos in the same room a few short years ago, and I can’t believe how much she and Derick have grown up already.

The beautiful Shenaaz braved some very rough ground with some seriously swollen ankles to allow us to capture these exquisite photos. The sunset was glowing, as was Shenaaz, and Stephen added a large dose of fun and humour to the shoot. Photography by Sean and Leanne Williams. Editing by Leanne Williams.
