Pet Pawtraits

Ansi, Kiki and Rival

Meet Ansi.  Owned by Kiki the golden retriever and Rival the horse.  Every photographer’s dream brief: ‘Please get some creative family pawtraits of me, my horse and my golden retriever together. But the dog is terrified of the horse. Oh, and the horse is in training to be bit-less, so there will be no bridle or any other physical way to control him.’  Plus, Ansi loves vivid colour, and the day we scheduled the shoot was dreary… Continue reading

Baby Blake and His Extended Family

Introducing the only puppy from the first litter of the brand new SellerSouth Kennel….Blake Dean!  Mom (all health checks clear) is recovering nicely and is super proud and protective.  Little Blake is already booked to a great Agility- and Flyball-Home.

But seriously…..I met new mom, Lindsay, at agility competitions and workshops a couple of years ago.  She’s loud.  If she’s angry, you know it.  If she thinks you did well at a round of agility,… Continue reading

Wendy and Her Dogs

Meet Bigs, Titan and Casper, and Littles, Keiko and Trixie.  And their elegant, loving mom, Wendy.  These beauties were shot at their home at sunset.  The dogs were so funny!  SO. MUCH. CHARACTER!

Jana and Heinrich, Owned by Finn

Beautiful Jana and her Heinrich, owned by Finn the Schnauzer, are engaged to be married in February next year.  Jana and I met through our mutual love of the sport of dog agility.  Earlier this year, Snapdragon Pictures sponsored some portraits of the South African Team who will be competing at the Agility World Championships, for use in the AWC catalogue and on social media.  After Jana saw the pics, she contacted me to take advantage… Continue reading

Linda and Phoebe

These two lovelies, Linda the Lady and Phoebe the Weimaraner, met us at sunset at Linda’s club, Inanda Country Base, in Kyalami for some beautiful pawtraits together.  By Sean and Leanne Williams.

Pawtraits of the Knox Family

Meet Cindy and Billy Knox.  Owned by Phoebe the Laborador, Cloe the Pug, Loki the Foxy cross Minpin, and Griffons Chewbaka, Flash and Raiden.  Chaotic cuteness.  I love the Griffons’ beards, though they gave me quite a challenge because they kept covering the dog’s eyes.  Cloe was by far the most photogenic little poser!    By Leanne Williams
