The Staessens on Holiday

I’ve been incredibly blessed to document the growth of these amazing three Littles for many many years now.  This year, we joined them at their family holiday home in Hartbeespoort.  As always, we let them play and explore while searching for pretty light.  Since the family is from Belgium, each grandchild proudly sported a Gent t-shirt in support of Belgium beer.  Kyle did a lovely job of assisting with lighting, equipment, and most importantly, with keeping… Continue reading

Sonja’s Beautiful Family

Meet Sonja’s beautiful family.  She, her hubby and their many many floofs welcomed their very long-anticipated baby boy, Chris!  Baby Chris wasn’t too enthusiastic about posing, and kept us quite busy for a good few hours, but Sonja was so chilled and easy going about it you’d swear she’d been doing this for years.  True to her relaxed parenting style, she wanted authentic lifestyle portraits with natural light.  Of course, the dogs got a little time… Continue reading

Melissa’s Pack

The Ranchod Family

The Walter Sisulu Botanic Gardens is still one of my favourite places for a family photo shoot with young children.  It’s a lovely day out for the family, everyone can relax and be themselves, and the kids can play and have fun while I capture their real memories.  By Leanne Williams.
