The Thorpe Ladies
Mom treated her two daughters to an urban family photoshoot in Johannesburg to celebrate her eldest’s 21st birthday. Nothing makes three beautiful ladies glow like some grunge and graffiti in early morning light. These three obviously love the camera and were an absolute pleasure to shoot. By Leanne Williams.
The Mes Family’s Pawtraits
Candice and JJ, proud parents of Shnauzers Pippin and Frodo, are celebrating their 7 year anniversary and booked a studio pawtrait shoot to commemorate the occasion. Candice and the two fur kids were treated to a morning of professional preening for the shoot, and everyone wore shades of blue. The dogs had fun playing with the resident laboradors of our studio, but Frodo did NOT enjoy the Christmas outfits. Photography by Leanne Williams.
Matt and Candice’s Wedding
My goodness, this was an elaborate wedding! Celebrity suppliers everywhere – the entertaining and real Stephen van Basten officiated, the flamboyant Zavion Kotze planned and decorated, the talented David John did the make-up, Exclusive Bridal Hair styled the hair, and lovely Con Grazia provided awesome background music. Three Little Staessens
Since the kids enjoyed their photo shoot so much last year, we did the exact same shoot again this year…..Walter Sisulu Botanic Gardens…..some attempts at formal poses (always a fun challenge with three toddlers) followed by documentary photos of them playing and having fun. The children’s personalities shine through in the photos – Bella, the little lady, Erin the fearless wild child, and Logan, the way-to-cool-for-school poser. Kirsty and Michael
Kirsty is absolutely camera-crazy, so we were treated to a full hour for family photos, and a full hour of couple photos at the best time of day for fantastic lighting. She had a rather large list of photo-requests, including some insane and unusual poses we’d never seen before. Michael and Kirsty tied the knot in the gorgeous gardens of The Indaba Hotel in Sandton. Norman’s 80th Birthday
For Norman’s 8th….sorry, 80th birthday, his children hosted a fun family event at Emoyeni in Johannesburg. The celebrations started with a quick family-portrait-session before the guests arrived. Lots of hugs and kisses and even a few tears followed as the family had obviously not been reunited for some time.
