Precious Celebrations is the amazing wedding planner behind this two-day-long wedding. We spent Saturday in the bride’s hometown, Tzaneen. The Fairview Hotel provided a cool and tranquil retreat from the heat where Wilson and his best men could prepare and practice their dances and speeches. The wedding ceremony and reception were celebrated at the beautiful Shuari Lodge. Such a lively and festive day in the sun with an amazing view of the mountains and a really sweet, fun couple!
After a lucky little sleep, we made the scenic journey to Pax Village, Limpopo, to the home of the groom’s family. Wilson and his family went to an incredible amount of trouble to prepare for his wedding guests…I’m told that he built an extra house to accommodate everyone, and had the municipality grade the dirt roads. It was sweltering hot and dusty, but the guests endured by entertaining themselves with lots of dancing, delicious food, and by relaxing in the scarce shade. There wasn’t a single dull moment!
