The Podiatrist and The Diver

South African Nick moved to a small island off the coast of Scotland for a job as a commercial Diver.  There he met Aimee, a local Podiatrist, and so their story started….Their wedding was held at Ruimsig Country Club in Johannesburg, and they had a lovely marina theme.   Nick and Aimee were amazing!  Almost everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong.  The power went out at Aimee’s dressing, and then the venue didn’t have fuel for their generator, so we all ran rather late and I ended up missing the groom’s men’s dressing.   Their planned outdoor ceremony was hailed-, not rained-, HAILED-out.   The Selfie Studio that we had set up outdoors was rained on and blown over.  They accidentally left the rings at the hotel room, and had to borrow rings from some guests for their ceremony!   Nick and Aimee had the most lovely sense of humor about it all and stayed calm and completely in love through it all.   We were really lucky to have a gap in the storm for some couple- and retinue-photos, and the moody lighting was gorgeous!  By Leanne Williams, Assisted by Kayla Rossini
