We first met the fun, close, huge Hendrikz family for Liezl and Martin’s engagement party and wedding, followed by their first born son’s maternity and newborn shoots. Sunette is Liezl’s sister, and we were privileged to also be commissioned for the photography of their destination wedding at Madidaba Game Lodge. The members of this spirited family are seldom seen without a beer or an alcholic slushy, or a shot of Jagermeister! Alchol-in-hand, the family put together the beautiful blue and gold decor, did their own bouquets, arranged the catering, served at the bar, DJ’d the reception, and still managed to celebrate with loads of laughter, tears, hugs, teasing, dancing and most important, love.
