Tanya and Michael’s Wedding

Tanya and Michael……a stunning, organized couple who were up for anything and so in tune with each other that they have similar mannerisms.  The team at Galagos Country Estate were absolutely amazing and their great communication, friendly and helpful staff and breathtaking venue contributed greatly to Tanya and Michael’s superb wedding photos and film.  Tanya and Michael chose a pretty theme of white and coral to contrast the deep, gothic colours around Galagos.   Their ceremony really… Continue reading

Keo and Hlale’s Wedding

Precious Celebrations arranged this vibrant, ethnic, enchanted wedding for her amazing clients, Keo and Hlale.  Thaba Eco Hotel and Spa was a perfect setting for their earth theme.  The bride and groom were beautifully dressed by David Tlale.  Oopsie Daisy decorated.  Keo put us all under a little pressure by being fashionably late – by about 3 hours –  I think because her dress was late in arriving.  I’d say Hlale must have been… Continue reading

Rainbow Love Engagement Party

Martin and Liezl will be tying the knot next year and are planning a Weekend-Away-Bush Wedding.  In the mean time, they held an intimate Rainbow Love themed Engagement Party at Liezl’s childhood home which boasts an incredible view of the Sandton CBD.  We scheduled a little family photo session for sunset and the couple’s spirited friends gave me some extremely….erm…. interesting moments to capture!    I loved that the family pets were involved in the party… Continue reading

Fred and Alli’s Wedding

Fred and Allison are our friends.  Fred and Sean were in numerous bands together during our student days, and still often get together to play guitar and write music.  When Sean told me that Fred had met his One, I was extremely nervous to meet her.  We met for breakfast and to discuss their wedding photography, and Alli and I got along so well that breakfast almost became lunch, and the boys hardly got a word… Continue reading

The Staessens and Their Grandchildren

The Staessens have been supporting us for years and years now, starting with their son’s wedding, and then their daughter’s, and we’ve been extremely honoured to have covered many more of their family functions and special life events each year.  I LOVE shooting this crazy family because they enjoy the honest, real moments and allow the kids to play, get dirty and have fun, so that their personalities really shine through for the shoot.  Granny even allowed her… Continue reading
