Lifestyle Portraits

The Weir-Smith Household

Remember Neil and Ali, and their lil cutie, John?   A few months later, and John is neeeeeeaaaaarly sitting by himself.  So of course dad pops him onto his Suzuki for their photoshoot!  And naturally the four-legged family-members got into a shot or two.  We also did some window portraits of little John in his nursery, which is decorated with hand painted murals of Toothless from How to Train your Dragon – one of my… Continue reading

Chantell and Her Bridesmaids

Chantell requested a special pre-wedding photo shoot for her bridesmaids. We went to the Walter Sisulu Botanic Gardens – one of my favourites because of it’s size and the variety of backgrounds.  Lots of girly fun was had by all, and the ladies got to practice their poses for the big wedding day.  I also had fun trying out our new product – Stop Motion Slideshows.   By Leanne Williams.

Darren and Tarryn’s Couple-Session

Darren and Tarryn are due to tie the knot in April. Today we met them at their gorgeous venue, Zulu Nyala Country Manour (which is fast becoming one of our favourites!) for a quick pre-wedding chat and their engagement-shoot.  Tarryn is not an outdoorsy type, but she bravely headed through mud, long grass and, well….lets just say there were also a few ducks, buck and zebra to add to the dirt…, all for the sake of a beautiful image.… Continue reading

The Sum Yeun Family

Hilary, JP and their two boys are from Durban, and they came up to Jozi to visit family.  While they were here they squeezed in a quick family shoot in a local park.  Jordan and Kyle were very cute for the camera!   And Granny Di is clearly very popular with them.  <3  By Sean and Leanne Williams.

Wilson & Ngwanamogale’s Couple-Shoot

Wilson and Ngwanamogale are going to be keeping Sean and me extremely busy with their double wedding in Tzaneen and Pax Village in December.  So we planned a practice-round engagement shoot for them to get used to being in front of the camera, and for images to use at their wedding.  We met them at one of my old favourites – Walter Sisulu Botanic Gardens.  Oh. My. Word.  Ngwanamogale’s name confused slightly-dyslexic-me the whole afternoon… Continue reading
