I love this Indian Pre-Wedding tradition because it gives me a chance to get to know the ladies, and allows them some time to get comfortable with the cameras before the wedding. Bhavna’s Pithi Ceremony
Bhavna’s friends and family painted her with turmeric paste and showered her with gifts and sweeties in preparation for her marriage to Rosheel later this week. This is the first time I’ve been commissioned to cover such an event, and what a visual feast! Bhavna complained that the paste was burning her skin and eyes, but that it would hopefully make her skin more beautiful for the wedding. By Leanne Williams.
Darren & Tarryn’s Wedding
You may remember Darren & Tarryn from the couple shoot we did for them a little while ago. These two are such a cute pair, and were a lot of fun to work with. Chantell and Her Bridesmaids
Chantell requested a special pre-wedding photo shoot for her bridesmaids. We went to the Walter Sisulu Botanic Gardens – one of my favourites because of it’s size and the variety of backgrounds. Launch of Gauteng Bride Wedding Planning App
The Marriage Meander Company hosted the official launch of South Africa’s very first wedding planning application last night at gorgeous venue, Kitchen Bar in Design Quarter. Darren and Tarryn’s Couple-Session
Darren and Tarryn are due to tie the knot in April. Today we met them at their gorgeous venue, Zulu Nyala Country Manour (which is fast becoming one of our favourites!) for a quick pre-wedding chat and their engagement-shoot.
