Bhavna’s Henna Party was held at her family home in Lenasia a few days before her wedding. I love this Indian Pre-Wedding tradition because it gives me a chance to get to know the ladies, and allows them some time to get comfortable with the cameras before the wedding. It’s also such a nice way for the ladies to unwind and feel pampered amoung all the stress of planning the wedding. We also did a night shoot… Continue reading
Bhavna’s friends and family painted her with turmeric paste and showered her with gifts and sweeties in preparation for her marriage to Rosheel later this week. This is the first time I’ve been commissioned to cover such an event, and what a visual feast! Bhavna complained that the paste was burning her skin and eyes, but that it would hopefully make her skin more beautiful for the wedding. By Leanne Williams.
You may remember Darren & Tarryn from the couple shoot we did for them a little while ago. These two are such a cute pair, and were a lot of fun to work with. Tarryn’s playfulness and Darren’s sly sense of humour made a great combination for our cameras, who could not have been happier clicking for these two lovebirds… Thanks to Zulu Nyala for providing the perfect setting.

Lots of girly fun was had by all, and the ladies got to practice their poses for the big wedding day. I also had fun trying out our new product – Stop Motion Slideshows. By Leanne Williams.
The Marriage Meander Company hosted the official launch of South Africa’s very first wedding planning application last night at gorgeous venue, Kitchen Bar in Design Quarter. Current and future suppliers were spoiled with delicious snacks while they browsed the new app on the numerous i-pads provided. Sean and I had fun meeting other famous wedding suppliers and we were thrilled to see that many of our images have been used throughout the app! Go to the… Continue reading
Darren and Tarryn are due to tie the knot in April. Today we met them at their gorgeous venue, Zulu Nyala Country Manour (which is fast becoming one of our favourites!) for a quick pre-wedding chat and their engagement-shoot. Tarryn is not an outdoorsy type, but she bravely headed through mud, long grass and, well….lets just say there were also a few ducks, buck and zebra to add to the dirt…, all for the sake of a beautiful image.… Continue reading
