Marcel & James

A really romantic, old-fashioned, classic, intimate and emotional wedding, held at The Hertford Hotel.  Marcel and James commissioned Greg Reynolds for their stills photography, and chose us for their video.  They were so happy with their wedding film and the Stop Motion that they also asked us for the images used in their Film.   We loved all of the small details that brought out Marcel and Jame’s vintage theme!   By Sean and Leanne Williams.… Continue reading

Wilson & Ngwanamogale’s Weekend Wedding

Precious Celebrations is the amazing wedding planner behind this two-day-long wedding.  We spent Saturday in the bride’s hometown, Tzaneen.  The Fairview Hotel provided a cool and tranquil retreat from the heat where Wilson and his best men could prepare and practice their dances and speeches. My. Word.  Ngwanamogale’s name confused slightly-dyslexic-me the whole afternoon… Continue reading

Alan and Meseret’s Garden Wedding

Alan and Meseret are real globetrotters.  They met each other, their best man and maid of honour on their travels, and now they’re in the process of moving to South Africa.  Heatherbell’s took on the task of planning the wedding for the couple since they’ve been abroad and aren’t yet familiar with Johannesburg.   As always, the flowers were fresh and lovely, but Heather and John went above and beyond to make every detail of this intimate… Continue reading

Chris and Tami’s Wedding

The night before this wedding, while we were packing cameras and charging batteries in preparation, Sean and I got the horrible phone call to let us know that one of our very best and oldest friends had been tragically lost to an accident at his work.  I must be honest, by the time morning finally rolled around, neither of us were terribly enthusiastic about being professional and creative for full day wedding, despite the lovely couple and weeks of… Continue reading
